sideboxes & background images help!

Hello everyone! I'd like to change my sideboxes font/colors etc as well as change or rename the content links in my information sidebox like shipping & returns to purchase guidelines. If this question was asked before, Please point me to correct direction.
I've spent couple of hours searching the threads but it seems like couldn't get any further.:dontgetit

Please bear with me. Im not so into with programming-understanding stuffs:(

For the first, you need to install the Firefox browser and the Web Developer plugin for Firefox. You can use those to see where in the stylesheet you change the styling of the various sideboxes.

Ctrl-Shift-Y will allow you to hover over a section of the page and see the class and id names for that section.

Ctrl-Shift-E will open the CSS editor and allow you to edit the stylesheet and see the changes in real time without changing anything permanently. A very handy tool.

For example, if you add this to your stylesheet:

#information {background-color:#ff0000;}

It will change the background color of that box to red.

I'm getting it just right! This is awesome :D I have another question though, my styling is a bit messy. It's because of the right sidebox. Earlier, I have changed the body width to !00% so that the template im using will fit any browser. However, the right box seems awful because it isn't aligned with the header. Any advice for me?

Hard to say. Your template "designer' has the whole site inside the headerWrapper, which is probably part of the problem, anyway.

When I change the #mainWrapper width to 980px, it looks better.

It did the job! it's looks better now than the 100% width yet not aligned!! thanks for helping! though im having problems with this left sidebox INFORMATION. I did what you told me to use developers kit and i did some changes i wanted. But when i clicked on like :
I changed this shipping & returns - about us but when i clicked this about us - it's still says at the upper corner that Shipping & returns.
Any advice for that? Maybe i forgotten to change something or what.please help!

Hello Please disregard my previous question! i have found out already.:D However, i i still got one problem though..again. I have changed the content links inside my information-left sidebox to what i'll be needing in my online store. However, the search tab still showing the previous link that i have deleted. I don't know if im saying the right words to describe what im getting at. like this -

I clicked the PRIVACY NOTICE which i have modified in english.php but the search tab still saying this - http://ocfashionlover.com/store/index.php?main_page=shippinginfo

the shipping info at the end part still there. How will i going to change to the one i have created. Please help!!

What was your shipping page is now the Privacy page.

What was privacy is now Purchase Guidelines.

What was conditions is now Payment Gateways and Shipping.

Why not move your shipping and payment info back to the Shipping page and change the link name back, and do the same for Privacy and make the Conditions page 'Purchase Guidelines?

Yes thanks for clearing that out and sorry for making your head spin. I have another question though, When im using this firefox browser, i don't see an unknown image on the upper side of the INFORMATION sidebox. But when im using this safari/IE i can see it and it looks awful Is there any way to delete the unknown image?
