blank page after editing english.php?

i think i have really screwed up my site, i tried to make a simple change in the public_html/includes/languages/english.php file. now my site has a blank home page. how can i fix it, it is on the classic green template.

Load a backup file or grab the file from a fresh install. (backup the stuffed file)

Should work by using the file from a fresh install if you dont have mods which rely on the file.

You can also check that file to make sure there aren't extra lines or spaces at the end after the final PHP tag, especially if you used something other than a text editor to edit it.
