database maintenance housekeeping

Hello,

Hope some of you can share some experience regarding the database size and best practices regarding maintenace of it.

We have a current database size of almost 20 MB.

I don't know if 20MB is alot for a database but by the looks of it i mainly see big tables in historical data, tables that stand out:
orders 2.5Mb
orders_products 2.4Mb
orders_products_attributes 3.2Mb
orders_status_history 1.5Mb
orders_total 2.0Mb
customers 1.2Mb
paypal_session 1.1Mb

Don't think i should mess with the customers table, but what about orders_products_attributes or orders_products. If i clean tables i would still like to run some sort of reports on order totals, but i am not interested in attributes on products if that was in an order longer than a month ago.

Anyone care to share thoughts?

Thanks,
Jeroen
