Header Whitespace in Google Chrome

Hi

I thought i had finally got all of my whitespace issues sorted (except in IE5x which i've been told not to worry about) - just installed Google Chrome though and again have a white space between my header and ezpages bar (I have used an image for my ezpages bar that forms part of the logo).

My site can be found at http://www.imagocollections.com.au
Any help would be much appreciated again.

Thanks

Craig

Re: Header Whitespace in Google Chrome

Try removing the 20px of padding-bottom from #logoWrapper.

Re: Header Whitespace in Google Chrome

Hi

Thanks for that. Didn't notice that #logoWrapper was buried in amongst all of the other #'s on the line above till you pointed it out. This allowed me to remove the -20 margin I had set in for #navEZpagesTop.

Unfortunately though the whitespace still exists in Google Chrome. Any other ideas?

Thanks again

Craig

Re: Header Whitespace in Google Chrome

Sorry, I can't see where it's coming from. The only disparity I see is that you have #logoWrapper set to a height of 50px, but your actual logo is 51px in height.

Chrome has a Developer tool - right click on that area and select 'Inspect Element'. You might spot something I didn't.

Re: Header Whitespace in Google Chrome

I ended up using a CSS hack for Chrome and Safari. If anyone's intrerested I pasted the following in my stylesheet;

@media screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio:0) {#navEZPagesTop {
margin-top: -20px;
}
}

I know hacks aren't ideal but until i can find out the problem they'll have to do. Any one with any ideas??
