Charset after moving web to another server

Hi, can anyone help me? I have moved my web to another server. On the old server worked all fine, but after moving some letters show bad. My db I have export from old server and import on the new server in phpmyadmin. My web is https://www.digipartner.cz, can anyone help me? :oops:

OOPS, I have changed my DNS 2 hours ago, you can not look on my problem.

For example: right word is "Příslušenství" instead of I become "P?íslu?enství" ...... :-(

Re: Charset after moving web to another server

Do the characters look good in the export or are they messed up there?

You might want to check that the default characterset is the same in the new DB as it was on the old and that the same character sets are specifed in the mysql config file/

You can specify which character sets to use when exporting / importing data which you might have to do if the DB character sets are different.

Re: Charset after moving web to another server

In both databases I found this symbol instead of letter - "š" and "". Do you know what to do?

Re: Charset after moving web to another server

Make sure you have set the charset to utf-8 in your language files, i.e. change

  define('CHARSET', 'iso-8859-1');

to

  define('CHARSET', 'UTF-8');

in your /includes/languages/english.php or /includes/languages/YOUR_LANGUAGE.php
