None of my shipping modules show up...

Well I totally feel stupid now...

It turns out that a couple of my new products were set up as virtual products...
and if they were all I had in my cart then it would bypass the checkout_shipping screen.

Thank you so much Linda for your time and your patience...I did learn much through my stupid mistake.
