Replace email/header.jpg???-Going CRAZY!!

I have tried several times to replace the zen logo on the newsletter and emails that are sent.
I replaced the email/header.jpg several times via ftp. I deleted the file from the server and then tried uploading my logo. The zen logo is still there??? How can that be?
I restarted my mail program several times too...thinking maybe there was a cache there or something?
I am trying to put a .gif as the email/header is that my problem? I do not have a .jpg of the logo, but will make one if that is the problem.
HELP! This is driving me crazy!

Ok, I will make it a .jpg and see what happens!

I made it a .jpg and it still doesn't work. The zen cart logo still shows on the email and newsletter pages. Am I replacing the wrong file????

The image says http://email/header.jpg I deleted the file and uploaded my new file... I replaced the file...

The Zen logo is still at the top of my emails and newsletters.

I am out of ideas.

The file in /email is not logo.jpg but is and should be header.jpg

I suspect that you still have header.jpg image in your /email folder and why it is still being displayed

Change your image name to header.jpg

Sorry, I meant to say header.jpg. NOT LOGO.JPG. I have burned up all my brain cells trying to fix this.

Sorry for the confusion. I am using my "logo" for the header. So I have accidentally called the header "logo" instead of "header."

Anyway, the Zen logo is still the header picture. My jpg is not showing up even though, I did delete the original Zen header and place my header in the email/header.jpg.

I don't understand why or how the Zen header can be there unless the Zen header is somewhere else.............?

I sent a newsletter to a friend and she said there is no header photo on hers, just a red X where the header should be. I still show the Zen Cart logo on my header.

Ideas???

I think I may have this issue resolved. Some newsletter subscribers have a red x at the header of the screen, and one did have my new header on there.

Your email reader probably had the old image cached, and thus your changes weren't being seen on your computer, but were probably just fine for everyone else.
Simply shutting down your email program may have resolved the matter for you.
Sometimes clearing your browser cache may help too, esp in the case of micro$oft apps

I was having the same issue appear when using File Manager in cPanel to manage my ZC install.

I viewed the original header in the File Manager

Then I uploaded my new one

Each time I did this, the old one would appear when I ticked the box next to file name and selected 'View File'

Emptied browser cache, now all fine.
