update button on shopping cart page has been disabled

Oh, I misunderstood your earlier post. But, that's a handy thing to know about.

As I believe I stated above, this was primarily for my personal education. My shop is going to contain only one-of-a-kind items, so it would be cool if I could eliminate the option to update quantity altogether (except for the delete button, of course). Is this possible?
Usually setting the "Show Shopping Cart - Update Cart Button Location" to "2 - Below all Products" is what most merchants do in that case. That way customers can enter "0" to change qty as an alternative to using the delete icon.
At the present time there's no built-in switch to completely remove the "update" button options altogether.

OK, that's fine. I don't really mind it showing in the cart area. Can I also somehow disable the editable quantity field? Since there's only one of anything, it seems a bit unnecessary, and potentially confusing to the customer.
