Shipping with different tax classes

Has anyone configured ZenCart for this? e.g. Product A has special tax status (no tax required) and is shipped according to a Zone Table Rate specifying the correct details. Product B requires sales tax and shipped accordingly. But when the two are selected together in a shopping cart only one table rate shows.
