Little problem with contact us send email..

Hello,

On my website I have contact us page/form and when for example end user trys to send comment or query, he receives message type of: "Thank you, we have received your message" and I automatically receive this message on my email address but there some problems with received email/message. For easier explanation I made few screenshots:

You will notice that "me" text when I receive new message through contact us form. I dont know how to change this - it looks like I didnt configured all email options right..

This how it looks like when I view this email. Here I have many issues:blush:

• First, instead od "from <myemail(att)gmail dot com>" it should be "from <test(att)gmail dot com>" so when I click reply, I am replying to my self "myemail(att)gmail dot com"

• Also, another problem is that I never see text of email message - it is always empty? For example in this picture I should see "Test" in red-marked square which should be pulled from "Your message" from image no.1

To solve this problems I tryed many combinations/changes in admin>configuration>email options but without success:lamo: Here's (click here) how email options are set-up righ now in admin.

Any help is appreciated.

I also have the "From" issue, but message body works fine. Still looking into the codes.

I don't even receive emails sent from the success page, although other email sending works fine.
Changing the email in includes/languages/english/contact_us.php doesn't change anything.

Well, your "problem" with the "me" is actually due to gmail. I bet you have a contact in your address book for your own email address listed as "me." Gmail recognizes this, and when the contact form sends the message TO the admin address (yours) it displays the email address and name which were entered in the form as the FROM.

Does that make sense?

The messages you're getting are sent to the admin, not the user. Try a different from email address in testing, even a made up one, and you will see a different result.

Oh, and the "empty"messages... do you see a note to "Show quoted text"? When messages appear to be the same, Gmail assumes them to be quoted and collapses that portion of the message.
