Removing banner and store logo?

Hi!

I want to completely remove the banner and store logo. I deleted them from the images section but they still show up as red X boxes. I figured this was any easy enough fix and I've already learned tons from reading this forum, but I must be missing what to do here.

Also, is there a way I can change show the quantity box for all my products without having to change them individually? I marked these "OFF" when creating them, but I see that was a mistake.

When you delete the images it doesn't mean you remove the link to them from your template file. Always remember that php is used to call something and then it is displayed in html. So by deleting the image your asking php code to display an image which doesn't exist which is rendered as X in IE.

To completely remove the header image or logo (I don't understand why you would want a website without a logo) you need to edit the template file, css and English file, or one of them it depends on the site and what you are referring to in the question.

The quantity box is displayed in multiple pages of the site, I can't answer the question unless you specify the page you are referring to and include a link to your website.

I couldn't locate either the logo image or the banner. To make sure I am doing this right, where would I access those three specific template files from my file manager?

What file do I edit to remove that? I accidentally left it there while removing the logo.gif from a header file - maybe I got ###### backwards, but I can't find the specific file now. :ohmy:

If someone can give me a general idea of what file(s) I could edit to change this, I would be most happy.

This can be any file that is called in the section of the website. We don't have crystal ball that can tell us which files you edited so we can narrow the problem down. It can be a language file, template file, module.
