Help!! Customer Password Reset Problems

Version 1.3.8a
We are having a problem when customers reset their passwords. When and customer needs to reset his/her password they click the reset password button, and it gets sent to their email address. Well I have been getting a few emails saying that the password that was sent didn't work, and I just thought it was the customer not being very smart.... but as more and more kept coming in I tested it and they are right!! I have tried multiple accounts, multiple browsers, and of course deleting the cookies, etc.

Does ANYONE have any ideas why this would be happening??

Thanks!!!

Re: Help!! Customer Password Reset Problems

Any chance you've changed templates lately?

Try switching to the Classic template and testing again.

Re: Help!! Customer Password Reset Problems

I would rather not have to switch the templates, as I don't want to screw anything up or lose and customizations I have. Would that have to be a permanent thing? If I switch it to test will I lose everything?

Re: Help!! Customer Password Reset Problems

No. Just change to the Classic template in Admin - Tools - Template Selection and see if the problem persists, then switch back. The only thing you may have to redo is the sidebox settings.
