Add to Cart-button outside the product info-page?

Hi! I'm trying to add an Add to Cart-button for a specific product on the index page. How should i go about in order to do this? I tried copying the source code from the product page but it's not working.

If the link is internal then you just need:

**<a href="index.php?main_page=index&action=buy_now&products_id=???"> Add to Cart</a> **
