Cannot find files and get an error msg

Warning: require(includes/application_top.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/c/h/e/chelyox/html/index.php on line 26

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/c/h/e/chelyox/html/index.php on line 26

I receive this error msg and have literally walked thru the print out of the zen install 4 times. I have everything how it is to be ...changed permissions, set the files to where they need to be, renamed and everything...I was getting up to the installer before but then kept giving me a different error msg that my hosting company could not help, so delete and start all over, NOW I get this. I am so frustrated at this point :frusty:

Can someone PLEASE help me before I go insane!!!

Re: Cannot find files and get an error msg

I don't know what the 'ftp upload message' is, but it sounds like all the files aren't being uploaded. Does your hosting account control panel have a file manager?

My method (which I know works in CPanel) is to upload the Zencart zip file to the server, then use the File Manager's extract function to unzip it - one minute to upload, 5 seconds to unzip, ready tio install, with no missing or corrupted files.
