Amending Paypal Options

Hi

I am trying to edit the paypal settings on a site, but when I click edit I get the following message.

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '[email protected]'', 'Primary email address for your PayPal account.<' at line 1
in:

If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields

How can I edit the details?

It looks like for some unknown reason you're inserting single-quote marks around the email address you're entering?

I can't enter any information, I select Paypal Standard, then click on edit and the message above is displayed. How can I change the paypal details?

But ... an "insert" statement only occurs when you click "Install" or when you click "Save" after editing.

While I can't see how any bad data in the database can cause problems in trying to open the settings in edit mode,
try this to get rid of the bad settings in the database:

1. Click on the PayPal module you want to change settings for.
2. View all the existing settings in the right-hand sidebar. Record them all.
3. Click "Remove" to remove the settings.
4. Click "Install" and then re-enter the desired settings. Click Save.
