Cart not sending product download link ?

Cart not sending product download link ?

Hello,

i am using the latest version of zen cart. I have added a few test products and sett the path to the product. For some reason when i test purchase the product it sends an email but no download link is provided in the email or the users area ? I am very new to Zen Cart (24hrs) Maybey i'm missing something here but i think i have set everthing up ok. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I have probably just overlooked something simple here but maybe not.

Download links are never sent in email. You access them from the My Account area.
Download links are only available if the shopper actually selected the downloadable attribute item from the list of attributes before they clicked to add the item to their cart.
