How to disable? Check for Updates in Admin?

I would like to remove the: Check for Updates button in the Admin control panel. I have way to many core modifcations and don't want any updates to be checked or installed from this control panel.

Is this possible? If so, how I can remove this button?

The button just "checks" if there is a newer version of Zen Cart available ... it does not "do anything" to your site just for checking ...

I understand that it doesn't acutally update but I don't want my clients clicking this and asking me: Why don't we have the newsest version available?

There are many people using this control panel (including a few webmasters) and I really don't want to explain how difficult it was to customize this carts core for the organization. Or for the webmasters to get frisky and just try and upgade (although I already told them not to touch, I have a feeling they are going to forget).

Is there a way to remove that button?
