how to change invoice or email layout like POS sytem?

Hello all

can anyone show me how can i chang the invoid playout look like the receive of POS system (like walmart or another store who used the POS system)

ex:

**customer name:
address:
phone:
Order number:

item name ..... $1.00
item name ..... $2.00
more item ..... in the shopping cart

sub total ...... $3.00
tax ...... 7%
Total ........$3.21**

the form like that and it can be print on POS printer (3 in. paper)

any suggestion will be welcome and appreciated

or show me which files i support to study and change

i build a zen-cart for restaurant .... with pick up on the store and they want auto print the admin email confirmation (when it has a new order arrive with kind receive printer). So, i need to change a font size of order email confirmation to fix with 3in paper on their printer

can anyone tell me which file or template i support to edited it

any suggestion or advice will be appreciated !!!

or the other the way how can i set auto print out a invoice (for admin) when it has a new order comming

/admin/invoice.php is what you need to edit to change the layout of invoices generated from the admin side.

I assume you are talking about order confirmation email.

If yes, then you need to edit** /admin/order.php and orders_status**

I tried to modified the file email/email_tempalte_checkout.html but it won't work
as the idea of hamid84 .... i don't know how to work with them at all because i just want to change a email confimation format page only
i don't want to hurt a code of file .... :))

i read them all. But they are not the one i looking for
i don't get any problem with email at all
because my client she want to print the confirmation email with 3. in print (kind of USP printer clip) and with the normal format it doesn't print well
so i decide to change the format of that email to fix with printer (3. 1/8 and continue for long)
in the admin => ... email i set as text and the file email_template_checkout.html i remover some parts that i think my client doesn't need (header, footer, claim..,)
and i also adjust the css part that belong to email.....html file to (for the size of printer page)
but when i try to order some then the email confirmation format nothing change

any idea or suggestion will be welcome .....
