How to add external pages?

How do we add external pages that are applications, like a chat and we do not want it in the side box, because this is an application written by another company, I would like to just add a tab and clicking on the tab would take you to it. The application is on my server as well.

You can use EZ pages and point them to a URL of the subdirectory the forum, etc. is in. The links will show in the 'Important Links' sidebox.

I do not mind using the EZ-Pages I guess, however, I do not want it in a side box, I am doing this for a client and he does not want it there.

The EZ page links can go in a sidebox, the footer or the header (or all three). You can also place a link anywhere you want and link to the EZ page.

How do you create a link from something on say like your main page, that will go to an external site. For example my site ptrailerva.com the address is clickable and i want the page that it links to to be external, not internal, any ideas?

Not sure what you are asking?

Are you asking for the html code so you can put a link in your text you write on the main page? The following displays as "Go to Ptrailerva.com", and the text Ptrailerva.com is clickable.

Go to <a href="http://www.ptrailerva.com">Ptrailerva.com </a>

Or, do you want a link as part of Zen Cart's page system to link to an external page. If so, you want an EZ page. Create one, scroll down past the text area (leave it blank) and find the box to type in an external link. This give you the facilities of an EZ page, but all that it does, it transfer the browser to your external link.
