Moving Folders

Hi

I'm running the latest version and have had it running properly and taking orders with Google Checkout but my it was in a sub/sub dir and wanted to clean it up. My Public/hmtl folder was a mess so I decided to clean it up I erased everything except the folder for my site and it stopped working. Probably a bad Idea? So I uploaded the zc_install as it said when everything stopped and tried to run it but nothing happened, I just got a blank screen.
I've tried editing the configure files to the new urls but still it's blank.
At this point I'm thinking of erasing and reinstalling but all the site is still there some where. I've checked the faq and that didn't work so can anyone help?

Re-create your public_html folder and do a fresh install of ZC into that.

public_html folder is fundamental to the server setup. It shoule not be deleted.

You database is probably still intact, so after a fresh install, point the new install to the old database (via configure.php files)

You can then look at moving across your custom template from your original sub-sub folder.

If searchengines have already indexed your site, set up redirects as described at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150620&page=2 (editing to suit the exact folder names and for www and non-www issues) so that visitors asking for the old URLs are redirected to the new URLs. This will also cause searchengines to update their records, although it will take several weeks or more for them to complete that.

Dont forget to save your templet default pages just incase those files were modified.
