getting shipping method to display better

Hi -

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this problem. The text in the shipping method description is so long, it screws up the display:

I know I could edit the description to make it shorter, but...is there a better way to clean this up?

In the language file for:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/usps.php

You could shorten:

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_TEXT_TITLE', 'United States Postal Service');

with something like:

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_TEXT_TITLE', 'USPS');

Yeah, I guess that's what I'll do. Much easier than trying to get the description to wrap in a column, and putting the amount in another column.

I have a question that is a bit similar.

On the check out pages I want to show the customer the title of a shipping module (like e.g. Flat rate), and inside the box a description of the shipping module.

But.. On the next pages this description ends up between the () brackets. Is there a way to show just the shipping title on these pages.
