Re: background images

/public_html/site.com/includes/templates/classic/css/

In your stylesheet.css look for your body selector:

body {
margin: 0;
font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 100%%;
color: #000000;
background-color: #FBFBFB;
background-image:url(imagepath);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position:left top
}

Change background image here.

Re: background images

Before you even think about that, you are running zencart inside a frame. This will cause problems.

Reconsider your construction of this site. Zencart does not like frames (which are largely obsolete anyway).

Re: background images

I didn't even notice as I had my tongue out, but read what schoolboy wrote about having ZenCart in a frame.

Basically, it means you are running a website (Zen Cart) within another website.

If you're seriously green, I'd suggest to do the basic installation and stick to that to start with

Re: background images

Your domain is https://www.kaytees.com

At that URL, the home page is a frameset, rendering INSIDE the frame the following:

http://sofreeweb.com/keytees/

So, whoever set this up for you needs to be spanked! They clearly do not know what they are doing.

I think the culprit is sofreeweb.com

Your DOMAIN must be set up on a server in its own hosting space. You need to do a NS update pointing that domain to the hosting server.

Your zencart installation CANNOT be in a frameset system. This will result in session ID issues, and will probably render most payment modules problematic, as payment gateways are known to reject requests from framed sources.

Go to a decent host and have this set up properly.

By the way... all the images are resident in your template's images folder, as evidenced:

#styleSwitch li { float:left; cursor:pointer;  position:relative; overflow:hidden; }
.style1{  background:url(../images/bg1.jpg) #171312 top center no-repeat;}
.style2{  background:url(../images/bg2.jpg) #171312 top center no-repeat;}
.style3{  background:url(../images/bg3.jpg) #171312 top center no-repeat;}
.style4{  background:url(../images/bg4.jpg) #171312 top center no-repeat;}
.style5{  background:url(../images/bg5.jpg) #171312 top center no-repeat;}

And oh dear... a Template Monster template... I wish you lots of luck, and better buy a few boxes of Kleenex to wipe the tears you are likely to shed trying to get to grips with TM templates...

LOL :D

mrkp99, if like you say you are seriously green and DO want to have a Zen Cart site, most hosting companies provide an Auto Installer function (Fantastico or Installatron for example), if I were you I would start a seperate thread asking how to do that, and also recommended hosting for your area/country that has this function

Once installed you'll get all the support on here you could ever wish for, so no need to be scared about being green :wink:
