Moving the ZenCart Database

Hello people..

My client wants move his existing ZenCart database which is already attached to his current URL to a NEW URL..

could it be done? What I mean is that If I get a brand new URL , can I attach the existing ZenCart database to it? What is the protocol for this fancy footwork..Do I need to install Zencart for the new URL and then import the existing database over the the new one?

Please reply if you have done this before..

Yes, this is the preferred method as it generates "Correct" configure.php files.....Just check that the new install references in the configure files the correct DB table prefix if there is any.

Steps very similar to this tutorial - -replacing "new directory" in your case with "new domain/url"
