I'd like to change the manufacturers sidebox

Hi -

I'd like to change the display of my manufacturer's sidebox. As best as I can tell, the default behavior is that modules/manufacturers.php requires templates/tpl_manufacturers_select.php, which makes a call to zen_draw_pull_down_menu(). I don't get a pull-down menu, though...I get a scrollable list. I don't see anything overriding this, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Can someone give me an idea why this is happening, and what I need to do to get a true pull-down?

As far as i remember , setting is done in admin section , you can adjust the size of manufacturer display to either dropdown or scroll .

Admin > Maximum Values
Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style
set to 1 to display dropdown.

Hmm. Are you sure about that? I can't find such a setting in admin, and looking at the code, I don't see how it "knows" which kind of menu to display.

Update: right you are. I replied too quickly. Thanks. Now, if I could just change the color of the highlight...

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to study it some to see whether I can understand it enough to try to incorporate it into my site.
