New Products

Is there a way to remove the new products from the bottom of the main page. There is a side box for it and that is all I want.

In the admin, setting "Configuration -> Index Listing -> Show New Products on Main Page" to 0 should turn those off.

I want to keep one for the side box, just do not want it on the bottom of the main page.

The sidebox for new products should only be affected by the settings in "Admin -> Tools -> Layout Boxes Controller," so you should still see the new products in the sidebox.

The visibility of the new products at the bottom of the page should be controlled by the "Show New Products..." choices in "Configuration -> Index Listing."

Have you installed any add ons that might be affecting these settings?
