Home Page Banner Customization

I need to modify my home page to mimic the layout of the home page of http://www.babyphat.com.

I want there to be one large image (that will rotate), with 3 smaller banners displayed down the right side.

Do I need to play around with the css to get this layout or is there another file(s) that needs to be updated to make this change?

Thats pretty easy to do actually. O both of those sites the loading speed is pretty slow. It might be my computer having a moment, but it looks like it loads slow.

You may benefit from some java on your home page.

Er.... I think techiegirl is just after some advice.

And besides - please do not tout your services on the forum. I find it quite interesting that you are an "expert" and (so far) have made just one post on the forum.

You can subscribe to the Commercial Help Wanted section of the forum if you feel you have enough expertise to "sell".

My main issue was with displaying the 3 banners down the right. I've been trying to use the float statement and it's not working like I originally thought it would.

I'm currently using javascript for the rotating images instead of Flash. It seems to load a lot better and is a lot easier to edit.

You could use three copies of the Blank Sidebox mod to contain your content, and enable them in the right sidebox column.

I have something on the site i'm working on at the minute that might be of interest to you. If you take a look, firstly the site aint finished, but most of it is there or there abouts.

The homepage has the rotating box, but there is a second there that at the minute is turned off. Reason i'm saying this is because the link to the site you posted has one fixed banner as the main image and then 3 small to the right.

You can use what i have done for the 3 small images to the right or even clone it and have as many boxes as you like.

You can link all the rotating images too.

Just wanted to update the solution I found with displaying the different images on my home page.

I used jQuery to rotate the 3 large images and used the float (left and right) and clear style properties to align the other images and embedded video vertically.

I'll bite! I'd love to do something similar but have been lost trying to figure out how to implement it within the banner box I that I current have flash in.
