Price per square meter

I must be missing something very straight forward.

I have an on-line carpet shop. I want the prices shown as "£xx.xx per square meter". The user will add the amount of meters and the calculation will be made.

I would like it to be able to enable and disable it per category as I'm selling rugs as well which is not per square meter price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that is how I have done it.

When you say "One places instructions to calculate the space width and length rounding up to get a total to order." Do you mean that I add text to the description to say something like "Please enter the amount of square meters you would like to purchase".

Is there any way to add the a suffix to the price to say "p/m2" in the cart?

If you are in the UK or EU, then the spelling convention is metre

In the US, the convention is meter

In the UK, a** meter** is a device we use to measure flow (eg: water meter, electricity meter).

Not a major issue, but I thought I'd point it out anyway.
