move multiple Products to Catigories...

Is there a way to move multiple products at one time to categories.
Also how do you add a Sub-Category once you have made a bunch of products.(the category button dissappears)
I tried to find something with no luck.

I have way to many items and now I want to create sub categories and move items into each of them, but moving 50+ is a pain one by one.

Any quick helps would be great. I don't do code or any of that so I would be lost if you tell me to add this line of code move this line of code and replace this line of code. Bleh!

Re: move multiple Products to Catigories...

Easy populate would work, but it the current stable release requires 2 lines in the csv file to delete an item, then another to re add it in a new category. Maybe the svn has something new

What I've done is used easy populate initially, then for refinements I middle-click the "m" of each item to open it in a new tab and make small-mass updates this way. I just close the tab after I move it and go to the next. Much quicker than trying to do them one at a time.

Im sure check boxes next to items for mass updating is somewhere on a upcoming feature list.......
