Changes not saved

Whenever I try to make any changes to the configuration, they are not saved.

For example adding a category, I go through everything fine, click the button to add the cat. It goes back to the admin index page.

I go back to the category page and the cat is not there.

This seems to be happening to all of the changes I try to make.

Anyone seen this before?

What version of Zencart?

That is one possible symptom of installing the admin security patch in version 1.3.8 incorrectly, by uploading the patch files to the cart folders rather than admin.

Changes are written to the database, check your permissions to the DB possibly.

I thought of that also, the permissions are good there.....
