I was wondering if you could ad a spot for the customer to put in their website url during registration or checkout via PayPal? Or give extra instructions to the customer during this point? I really need their url during the checkout process.

Also, is it legal to redesign the site and resell the site to others?

What you CAN do is design webshops using the ZC code as the underlying "engine", and you can legitimately charge for your expertise in constructing unique webshops, where the cosmetics and parts of the functionality are customized.

What you CAN'T do is sell zencart as a software package.

So yes... sell your skills, time and expertise - but don't put a price on the zencart core component - that is FREE.
