Can Copyscape be used in Zencart?

I have a client that now wants all product images, header banner, and other images to be watermarked and also the text.

However, the text truly can't be watermarked, so it's highly suggested to use Copyscape - but can that be used in a shopping cart like Zencart?

Yes, I have ImageHandler contribution up, but can never get the watermark (default mark or custom) to work ... not on 4 sites now. So, I'll have to hand watermark the images across all 4 sites (over 8,000 images).

But right now, I'm more worried about the text ... hence the question about Copyscape.

I don't see why not. I used it to check my stock Zencart test site, and got the expected 10 sites with the same content. I also checked a site with all original content and got zero returns.

That said, my personal opinion is that worrying about content copiers is a waste of time. I have my hands full trying to sell stuff - I don't have the time to be an Internet cop, too.

I agree with you, but this is what the client wishes since they are find their stuff all over the web. What gets me is that only one of their websites is original content (they took the product pics and wrote the descriptions) ... the other websites they have the products drop shipped for them - so the pics and text is the vendors'. :wacko:

Anywhoo ... as long as copyscape works in a cart environment.
