Where are my products saved?

Where are my products saved?

When I add new products or categories in the control panel, where is this information saved? I was looking in the database but could not find it anywhere. I would like to be able to access this information using sql statements, but don't know how to. Thanks for any help!

St,
Within your Cpanel you should have an icon for phpMyAdmin

click on the database you are using
then look at the tables on the left
scroll down to products

Thank you much for your reply. I cannot find the phpmyadmin incon anywhere in the control panel though. I have looked through all of the tabs as well and do not see anything about phpmyadmin or mysql or anything. I'm stumped :(

Nevermind, I figured it out. Wow I feel like an idiot! I was just looking in the wrong database.
