What template are you using? Does not seem to be a ZC template as I cannot recognize "tools section" in your html source.

The easy way is to add this to your stylesheet:

.td-languages, .td-search-header {display:none}

Usually anywhere is OK. I put all stylesheet additions at the bottom, so they'll overrride an existing statement that I may have missed, and so they're all in one place if I have to go back and review them (I've never been able to train myself to comment changes).
