First Timer-trying to figure out how to change store name

Hi!
I have never used Zen Cart...and I am pretty new to the world of websites. I bought a template for my website and they installed it so now I have access to the admin for Zen Cart.
I figured the first thing I should do is change the name of my store so it isn't the template store's example name. I found info about headers and logos...but i didn't really understand exactly where to go in admin. I'm just feeling frustrated! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Depends on what you mean by 'the name of my store'. A link to your site will help us help you. Chances are what you want to accomplish won't be done from admin.

So on my template it says "footwear" at the top right-hand side...I want it to say the name of my store "the upcycle store".

That's not text. It's the logo. The path to the image is http://theupcyclestore.com/includes/templates/theme354/images/logo.gif, so create your own logo.gif (use the exisiting one for dimensions) and replace the existing one.

It's not something you can do from the admin.

well if i don't know do it from admin...where do i do it from?

You need to create an image to replace it. For that you need a program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. There may be free ones on the net.

Once you create the image, name it logo.gif and upload it to the images folder I mentioned earlier. To upload, you'll need an FTP program like Filezilla which is available free on the net.
