Need help with turning somthing off

Im useing zen cart 1.38 How do you remove the product discription from the top of every page? For instanance if I have a product catagory called parts when I click on it at the top of the parts page it will say parts if I have one called info it will say info i just want to remove those from every page any help would be greatly apericated

Not sure I completely get your question but try admin/config/layout settings/define breadcrumb status. Set to 0 and see if that gets you what you want.

Sorry, we just moved out of my league. As far as I know, EZ page titles are required, as are category names. If you can "turn them off" , sad to say, I don't know how.

However, I'm sure it can be done, but will probably invlove changing code around in whatever .php file defines it, and that will take a smarter guy than me.

The ez-page title you show can be hidden easily with a stylesheet rule like

#pageBody h1 {display: none;}

If that doesn't do it, post a link to see your site live and we can give the exact rule.
Eliminating it from the HTML output would require some code edits, but still not difficult.

what file do I edit?

You would add this to the bottom of your /includes/templates/your_template/css/stylesheet.css.

Thank you it worked great. Now would you know how to delete the same for the rest, like the catagories and products page?

We would really need to see your site live to give the best advice for different pages. In most cases, you want the h1 tag for search engine fodder, and it is not the same title that you are asking to remove.

What you had me do worked great for the ez pages now I would like to remove the same from all of the headers.
