Sales report to show my cost /profit

Hello,

I am new to Zen Cart and need some help.

Can someone tell me what to do to set this up under the Sales Report.

This is needed to see my profit after I have sold a item.
Where in the admin area can I put my wholesale price (only for me to see), then you have the price your selling the item for, shipping and etc. To do a report I need a report that you see profit for the day, weekly, monthly and annually for tax purposes. I need this to show as well to get a accurate figure.

Can someone please tell me how to set this up. I have been working on the new store for about 3 weeks and have most of my products added and just started making sales from this new updated store. Went to reports and this important part is missing. I know I will have to go in and fix each product but that's Ok, I just want this set up correctly.

westerngal, did you succeed in adding the costs to the Sales Report?

If anybody has any a clue as to how this could be done, please enlighten me.

I know that this is quite an old thread but I would be very interested in finding a way to do this. I have noticed some requests but very detached responses by some that should know better. I was wondering whether there was a way of using the same principle as the way that tax is calculated then adding the output to reports with graphs. That would ba a very useful tool. There was a comment from one person saying "that is what accounting sofware is for". Well, if you have a report, your time spent doing your accounts will be shortened so this is a very useful tool that could be joined into another pluggin.

Any comments that are helpful would be very gratefully received.
