I want large images to show.....
I understand the image file conventions used by ZC, but I am missing something. The book I'm using (E-start Your Web....) is vague. I searched the FAQ's and the posts here..... I MUST be missing something.....
I have an item called the SM-100S. I have another one called the SM-100C, and another called the SM-200C and two more called the SM-300C and 300S, respectively.
SM-100S will be the main product image. I want all the others to show up as large images. So I put all of the images into the large directory, and gave them all extensions of _LRG, thusly: SM-100S_LRG.jpg, SM-100C_LRG.jpg, SM-200C_LRG.jpg, etc. etc.
So they should show up, automatically, as large images, right? They do not. What am I missing, here?
I have used multiple images of other products, but only if they are in the images directory together, using the same base name. But if I want to display large images automatically upon a page loading, do I have to somehow enable use of the "large" directory? Why not just put them all in the images directory together? What is the point/objective of the directories for large/medium images?
I assume ZC "looks" in those directories, as well as the main images directory, when loading a page. Am I wrong?
While I'm on the subject, I'm tempted to make a table and display pictures using this manner, for more control of sizes, etc. I would appreciate all comments regarding this thought, as well.
