Redirect Loop Error with foreign currencies

Hi everyone,

After looking through the previous posts, I'm still trying to find an answer to my problem. Running 1.3.8, and my site is here:

About 5% of my customers are having problems finishing checkout when they try to order in a foreign currency, either AUD or GBP. They are allowed to open a customer account, but then get a 301 Error (Too Many Redirects) when trying to checkout. I have also been able to recreate the error, but several people have also recently ordered in foreign currencies without incident. Anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks in advance with any info that might help..

If you can recreate the problem and log the server HTTP transactions using the Live HTTP Headers extension for Firefox, or similar, while it is happing, post the list of URLs and the status code returned for each. Don't post the whole log file, it will be huge. Just extract the URLs and status codes.
