Simple Machines Forum and Zen Cart?

Is there a means to bridge Zen-Cart to a Simple Machines Forum?
There was a thread from two years ago with no answer...is there one today?

Re: Simple Machines Forum and Zen Cart?

If there is no bridge for SMF, it seems that it would be best to just replace SMF with PHPBB3, since it is already directly supported.

Hard to believe after all this time there is not a bridge available.

Absolutely nothing prevents you from writing one...
