Centre the Category Image

Hi I hope someone can help me with centering the Category Image .. on my page.

Site is http://www.broomebeads.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=18

I already have the product info centred module for my product pages and I have tried playing with the css .categoryImg img I have tried text-align:center and margin: 0 auto and was hoping some kind person would know. The only way I can move it is with padding and all my category images are different sizes.

What you had commented out works

.categoryImg img{ margin: 5px auto; text-align:center; padding: 0 0 0 175px; }

But why are you padding 175px?

Hi I dont have anything commented out except the padding which I used to see if I was in the right place and with text align centre and auto margin it is not working. Thanks for your help.

Sorry finally found where I edited the text, went there before but missed it .. sorry to trouble you.

Try adding this to your stylesheet.css file

#categoryImgListing {
        text-align: center;
        }

I wanted to do this too. Try using text-align: center on the categoryImgListing style. Should work :smile:

I have tried modifying the #categoryDescription, #indexProductListCatDescription (line 275)

{

margin-top: 10px;

margin-right: auto;

margin-bottom: 10px;

margin-left: auto;

} but that didnt work.

Have you tried text-align: center on the #categoryDescription, #indexProductListCatDescription style?

Hey worked it out .. had a stupid space in between the # and the class

#categoryDescription.catDescContent {
margin:10px auto;
text-align:center;}

I went to includes/templates/MY_TEMPLATE/css to center my image but I could not seem to find:

#categoryDescription.catDescContent {
margin:10px auto;
text-align:center;}

I read that I may need to add this:
#categoryImgListing {
text-align: center;
}

But I'm not sure where exactly it should go.

Please help.
