[Done v1.3.9c] downloaded file is not complete, after upgrade

StitchJunkie:

When set to redirect, creates the folder, however it is empty. When I type the direct link I get "Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /pub/.xbuqygqyxxxxx on this server. Additionally, a 301 Moved Permanently error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." So it doesn't even create the Symlink.

I had that problem in 1.3.8 and you had me set to download by streaming and that's how I was doing it up to the upgrade to 1.3.9a

Pub folder set @ 777
I've set the downloads back to streaming

I am facing the same problem. I got like 30+ downloadable files, they re all work fine in 1.3.8. But when I upgraded to 1.3.9b, some of the files is downloadable and some are not. I ve checked each file's path, permission, and they re all seem fine to me. I don't know where should I begin to solve the problem.

Re: [Done v1.3.9c] downloaded file is not complete, after upgrade

I decided I was taking too much time fixing my 1.3.9a since the 1.3.9b came out after I upgraded. I've since started over and upgraded directly from my 1.3.8 to 1.3.9b since I'd need to do that anyway. (linux, green lights, all same)

Now I'm not getting to ANY downloads, ony a 500 internal server error page when attempting to download.

MyDEBUG displayed "PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function notify() on a non-object in /includes/modules/pages/download/header_php.php on line 223"
Applied your line 115 edit to the headerphp.php file [to $origin_filename] just in case that was the issue, however didn't have any effect on the fatal error on line 223.

I believe if I get past this error, probably I'll find the empty zip files again, but can't get that far now ...

On line 223, change $zc_notifier-> to $zc**o**_notifier->

Re: [Done v1.3.9c] downloaded file is not complete, after upgrade

Thanks so much Dr Byte! It took both of these edits to correct the error and download issues I was having after the upgrade.
Edits made to the /includes/modules/pages/download/headerphp.php file were:

on line 115 changed from (DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD . $originFilename); to (DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD . $origin_filename);

On line 223, change $zc_notifier-> to $zco_notifier->

I appreciate your assistance greatly!! :thumbsup:

Thanks for confirming that those fixes worked.
They'll be included in the next update.
