Changing Zen Cart directory

I have my current ZenCart installation installed at

https://www.mydomain.com/zencartstuff/

but I'm done staging it and I want to go live, and make the Zen Cart installation at my root directory.

I can copy all the files over, and change all of my text based absolute urls to reflect the change, but I wanted to know: are there any database or config things I need to be aware of when doing this?

Are there any general precautions that I should know about?

If the store is already indexed by searchengines (as being in the /zencart/ folder), then you'll also need to redirect requests for old URLs to the new URLs.

I just installed the store last week so hopefully no search engine indexing will occur.
