How to:Product Selection for Specials Page?

Okay so I got the specials page to work, but there are a few things that still need tweaking:

1. For the life of me, I can't remember how I managed to add a test product to the specials page yesterday, since no products showed up on the product drop down list yesterday and now the only product that show up in the drop down list, is the one test one I added before,as you can see in the screenshot below:
   
   Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

Anyways, its important that I get this to work properly asap as the client will be adding specials himself, so its got to be as simple as selecting a product in drop down list or uploading a product.

2. How do I add more text to the main_page=specials?
   I want to change the wording of the heading which currently says "specials" to say "Current Specials".
   I tried by defining it in english.php but not working.

EDIT: I also need to add a few lines of text underneath the header text on the main_page=specials page.

Does anyone have any idea as to why no products display inside the drop down box when I want to add a special?

I urgently need to fix this.

How stupid of me!

The reason why I can't see any products in the drop down box is because I did not add the darn products to the categories!

I am so embarrassed for having jumped the gun on this one..:blush:

Can admin please delete this thread?
