Show all products on main page

I am trying to put together a quasi "deal of the day" type website. So of course I want one product to show and ONLY one product (preferably on the main page.)

The way I have it now it basically shows the "New Products For..." which will work but I was hoping to have the main page redirect to show the product description and add to cart buttons etc.

Is this something that can be accomplished in zen-cart fairly easily (I am a little clueless on this...clearly)?

Very simple:

1. Create a category.
2. Put your ONE product into that category.
3. Set your store to auto-open to THAT category (Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Categories Open on Main Page = yes ..... and Category to Open to: (set category num) )
4. By default the "auto-skip 1-product category-listing" option is on, so that will cause visitors to hit your ONE product immediately when they visit your site.
