Easy Populate zero qty config

Hiya. I've got Zencart 1.3.8a & Easy Populate 1.2.5.4.

I've successfully uploaded about 3600 products, but am having trouble with this:

I have the configuration for zero qty products set to TRUE, that is, when there are no products in stock they should not show up

Unfortunately, these products continue to show up, with a stock quantity of zero.

Tried changing the configuration to FALSE, and got exactly the same result, no change. Out of stock products are still there.

Been looking around, but didn't notice anyone else having this issue. Anyone have ideas?

Re: Easy Populate zero qty config

Okay, so part of my problem was solved, because I was still working on populating my database with Easy Populate. However, I'm still having some trouble with this feature.

Right now, products which are configured not to show up (zero quantity products) still appear: in search results, in the 'new products' center boxes, & in the 'featured products' center boxes.

They don't show up in the categories I've defined.

I hope that I will be able to get them to disappear consistenly if I go through the database offline & make sure products with zero quantities are also individually set to 0 for the validate/invalidate/delete option.

Not so terrible, except for the fact that I have a database with 3600 products in it. Assuming that such a tactic will work, I can probably learn an excel formula to change the database, but it does make the admin function redundant & misleading, no?
