Sales statistics

Hi again
I'm currently looking into some statistics. From my host I easily get figures like unique visitors, page views and so on via its statistics plugin. However, to calculate sales prospects I need the sales statistics as well, and that can as far as I can see only be derived from Zen Cart admin or directly from the database using PhpMyAdmin. I've searched a bit, but only found ways to couple the orders to spreadsheets and such, while I want to export all order totals.

I.e., I'm looking for a way to export the sales statistics into a xml (or whatever) file. Like orders per day, week or month, the date and what each order is worth.

I'm sure it can be done, but I have absolutely no idea where to start :Flush:

Re: Sales statistics

Search the Free Software Add Ons for 'report' to see if someone has already done what you're looking to do.

Thanks, excellent search word! Sometimes you just cant figure them out, especially when you're not native english...

I installed Sales Report ( http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=83 ), a very comprehensive add on with no overwrites. Huge tip for anyone looking into sales statistics!

I also installed Montly Totals ( http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=1509 ), but it only creates montly reports since installation date. I.e. no sales history prior to install. Neat add on anyhow I think, when a few months have passed it'll give me a quick insight to the sales prospects.
