Blank pages after installing Magic Zoom Plus addon

I'm having a similar problem. Here are the details:

Im using Zen-Cart 1.3.8a
I have not had my cart upgraded
I installed Magic Zoom Plus (a zoom module for zencart )yesterday to try it out but when i uninstalled it and deleted the files it seems as if everything else was deleted too. (Maybe i'm wrong, but my main page is blank, header, no categories shown etc. )
I uploaded the public_html folder from a backup and i still have the same problem.
However, when in my Admin>define pages editor my code for my main page is still shown
When i look at the source code for my main page it doesnt reference to any of the files it should. Is there a debugger tool that i can use to see what files i'm missing to get my site back to normal? Please help.

What has happened is you have written over a core file when you installed the Zoom mod...

Two way to find the problem..

1. Use winmerge to compare the mod to your zen cart store to see which files overwrite the core.. Then just upload the core file for the fix..
2. You can use this handy tool.. http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=860

This module DOES NOT over-write any core files.

There is only ONE over-ride file:

tpl_modules_main_product_image.php

which gets loaded into your custom template.

If you chose, however, to OVER-WRITE the core file in the template_default/templates/ folder, then removing it in an attempt to "uninstall" the module will affect the construction of affected pages.

It sounds like you might have deleted too many files. Did you follow the installation instructions? You are supposed to backup your original template files before uploading the new ones. If you have those, you can roll back to them, or roll back to another backup (you do regular backups, right??!!).
