Re: Can I add this html contact form to my product description?

The form has a <textarea> element, and entering that into the product editing textarea confuses the code.

Ok I'll just have to have all my options with small text input boxes instead of the larger text area.

Re: Can I add this html contact form to my product description?

You can try this, bearing in mind that <iframe> has very limited use in these types of sites, and should be used with caution.

Step One:
Take your current form code and enclose it in opening and closing html tags:

<html>
<!-- Begin Response-O-Matic Form -->
<!-- DO NOT EDIT YOUR FORM HERE, PLEASE LOG IN AND EDIT AT RESPONSE-O-MATIC.COM -->
<form enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post" action="http://www.response-o-matic.com/mail.php" accept-charset="UTF-8">
<div>
<input type="hidden" name="acctid" id="acctid" value="d9jc6x9l19c5afwo" />
<input type="hidden" name="formid" id="formid" value="768557" />
<input type="hidden" name="required_vars" id="required_vars" value="name,email" />
</div>
<table cellspacing="5" cellpadding="5" border="0">
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>Name:</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="text" name="name" id="name" size="40" value="" />

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>Email Address:</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="text" name="email" id="email" size="40" value="" />

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>Telephone</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="text" name="field-f96908ee0e2477a" id="field-f96908ee0e2477a" size="40" value="" />

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>Quantity of Drawstring Bags</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="text" name="field-55fcc70f6ff5413" id="field-55fcc70f6ff5413" size="40" value="" />

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>Colour of bag</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="text" name="field-745fe468183efff" id="field-745fe468183efff" size="40" value="" />

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>How many print colours</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="text" name="field-1a40fb619bc7644" id="field-1a40fb619bc7644" size="40" value="" />

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<strong>Message</strong>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<textarea name="field-a959f7b8b627ea1" id="field-a959f7b8b627ea1" rows="6" cols="40"></textarea>

</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td colspan="2" align="center">
<input type="submit" value=" Submit Form " />
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</form>
<br><center><font face="Arial, Helvetica" size="1"><b>
This form powered by <a href="http://www.response-o-matic.com">Freedback</a>
</b></font></center>
<!-- End Response-O-Matic Form -->
</html>

Step Two:
SAVE the code as a html file... eg: response_form.html, and place it in the root folder of your zencart installation.

Step Three:
Put the FOLLOWING code into your product description HTML (at the bottom). NOTE: You will need to put YOUR-SITE url into the code, as shown...

<iframe height="1500" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="yes" style="width:100%;border:none" src="http://www.YOUR-SITE.com/response_form.html" title="Response form."><a href="http://www.YOUR-SITE.com/response_form.html" title="Response form.">Response form.</a></iframe>

See if it does the trick...

(If this is being applied to many products, how are you going to identify what specific PRODUCT is being associated with each form submission? You are going to have to somehow embed an identifier in the form, so you know what product page it has come off...)

Re: Can I add this html contact form to my product description?

I use a similar, but far more elegant and sophisticated system HERE.

This form is also embedded in an IFRAME, but on an Ezpage.

The software driving this form is called MachForm from Appnitro - an amazing wysiwyg form builder.

It has 100 trillion times more features than that crappy response-o-matic ! :D
