BetterCategoriesEzInfo - need subcategories on Main Page

I have scoured the forums and cannot find an answer to why my subcategories are not showing up on my main page in the categories sidebox....please help! Thanks :)

As far as I know, BetterCategories does not have an expanded categories option. You will only see the subcats of the top cat you have chosen.
Categories Dressing does have an option to use the Uncollapsed Categories mod along with its styling and display features.

Too bad you didn't ask earlier... the best way to use images for all of your sidebox headings is with Image Titles in Free Addons. It eliminates the need to edit a PHP file for every sidebox as the tutorial directs; all you have to do is save the image with the correct filename.

I'll keep that in mind! Thanks :) One last thing, and I love this mod by the way. Can you tell me how to eliminate the hover effect that has the /'s all around?

Delete the unwanted example image files in /includes/templates/your_template/images/.
You can also comment out the hover rules in stylesheet_chcategories_dressing.css if you don't want any hover effect, or change them as desired.
