Shipping Cost Based on Weight?

Hello, this has become the biggest barrier for me so far as after hours and hours of research i cannot find a method of having Zen Cart display shipping cost in weight.

For Example:

Item 1 = 90 grams

0-100 grams = £1 Royal Mail 1st Class
0-100 grams = £0.70 Royal Mail 2nd Class

How can i have it so that both 1st and 2nd class are available following a table like the example. A free option would be highly preferable here.

You can create "clones" of most shipping modules (except ones like UPS and USPS).

You need to decide firstly how you want to CONFIGURE your shipping, and the best way to do this is to look OUTSIDE zencart, and focus on the company that will do the shipping for you.

You need to determine HOW they levy their charges, and one you know this IN DETAIL, you then come back to zencart to see which module(s) are most appropriate for their rates, destinations and consignment compositions.

Then, if you need what are essentially "duplicated" or even "triplicated" functionalities, you CLONE a desired module (make COPIES of it).

The CLONE method described HERE by Fairestcape outlines how it can be done for the FLAT RATE module, but the same principles apply to the TABLE and ZONE modules.

Hi, appreciate the reply and reading through the links now. Just to clarify though i am dropshipping so im just going by my suppliers rates which has been given in the form of a table.
